Ronald Turner is the leader/drummer/songwriter of the Fashion Statement band and executive producer of his debut CD It’s All About Love. He is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, a graduate of Florida A and M University, and a former public school band director in Florida and Los Angeles, California. He has performed with singer Esther Phillips and trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie for the Newport Jazz Festivals at Carnegie Hall, the Oakland Coliseum, and the Hollywood Bowl.
